Hi guys! Today I'm going to be showing you how to make your Mac say anything you want. All you have to do is run a simple Terminal command.
Let's get started!
Open the "Terminal" application either with the Spotlight Search or the Launchpad. You can also go into your applications folder, click the Utilities folder, and double-click Terminal.

Open up the Terminal and type the command:
say hello
Your computer will say hello to you! Whatever you type after "say" your Mac will say it! If you want to have a little more fun with it, type:
say -v 'pipe organ' bop bop bop boppety bop bop bop beep beep beep bop beep beep beep bop bop
NOTE: This will only work if you have the voice "Pipe Organ" downloaded already. If you have it installed, skip this section.
This is how you download the voice: Open System Preferences and go to accessibility settings.

Then click speech.

In the System Voice drop-down click customize, scroll down, and check Pipe Organ. If you don't have the voice already it will install it for you when you click OK.

After it installs, (it will show you the progress under the drop-down) run the command again.
say -v 'pipe organ' bop bop bop boppety bop bop bop beep beep beep bop beep beep beep bop bop
Did you hear your Mac sing for you? Haha 🤣 🤣 🤣 !!
I hope you had a laugh with these fun commands! Try making your own song and, if you want, put them in the comments for others to try out!
See you next time! TechDino
